If you are stranded on an island, you will
live up to two months without food, but only a couple of days
without water. Two thirds of our body consists of water. Everyday
your body must replace 2.5 liters of water.
Some more interesting facts include: blood is 92% water, the
brain is 75% water, muscles are 75% water, and even bones
are 22% water.
Burn your fat
If you are trying to suppress your appetite, drink plenty
of water. Research conducted in Germany stated that by drinking
at least eight glasses of water each day, humans can burn
up to 35,000 calories a year or almost five kg! Just try it
yourself… drink Cheers as often as you can when you
feel hungry. Cheers has zero calories, zero fat, zero sugar,
and it cleanses your system. Next time you feel hungry, reach
for a sip and forget your snack.
Detoxify your internal organs
You heard it before: Drink plenty of water to maintain healthy
kidneys. Why? Kidneys are vital organs that remove waste from
everything that we breathe, eat, and drink. If we do not consume
enough water, those wastes could remain in our kidneys and
potentially cause damage. Help your kidneys flush out all
the toxins in your body by drinking enough water.
Breathe, but hey, wasn’t it water I just
lost?
Stand in front of a mirror and breathe. The mirror in front
of you gets foggy just from one breath. What does that mean?
You just lost some water from your body. Research shows that
humans lose almost one liter, or almost four glasses, of water
everyday just from breathing in and out. Even if you sleep
all day, you need that much water to replace what you lose.
